Still restless and looking for an inexpensive large diameter telescope? Then you will really be interested in the Dobsonian reflector. You won't find a cheaper telescope of this diameter. The light collected by the primary mirror is reflected from the flat, elliptical, secondary mirror and enters your eyes through the eyepiece. Part of the incoming light is blocked by the secondary mirror and its mounting mechanism, which slightly reduces the resolution and the amount of incoming light, but don't be discouraged, these shortcomings are fully compensated by the large diameter. Like any telescope, the Newtonian reflector sometimes needs to be collimated. Collimation is the alignment of the optical axes of the telescope. If the telescope is out of alignment, you will lose some of the brightness of the image. It's not a complicated procedure, and all the telescopes we sell are already collimated.

Also, if you are going to hunt dim deep sky objects, 200mm and 250mm reflectors would be a better choice.
