The Portkeys BM7 II DS is a rugged 7-inch touchscreen monitor and an evolution based on of the BM5 III WR. This monitor features a maximum brightness of 2,200nits, HDMI input/output ports, two SDI inputs and one SDI output with HDMI cross conversion, and wired/wireless camera control capabilities.

- Split screen monitoring, you can monitor two video inputs simultaneously.
- Professional monitoring tools: Waveform, Vectorscope, Anamorphic, Peaking, ARRI False Color.
- 3D LUT monitoring and 3D LUT SDI output capabilities.
- RED Approved: wireless camera control for the RED Komodo and V-RAPTOR.
- Wireless camera control for most Sony and Blackmagic Design cameras.
- Wired camera control for RED, Sony, Canon, Panasonic, BMD, and ZCAM E2.
- TILTA Nucleus N/M wireless follow focus wired control.
- Built-in dual Sony NP-F style battery plates.
- Industry-standard 2-pin and 5.5mm barrel connector 7.4V-24V power inputs for external power (D-Tap cable included).
- Rugged all-aluminum housing: only 460g/16.2oz.
- Custom JPG picture custom freeze frame.
The housing of the BM7 II DS is entirely made out of rugged aluminum and has toughened glass in front of the display. At the top and bottom of the monitor, you'll find 1/4"-20 mounting points with locating holes, which adds versatility to mount it in any position/place on your camera rig. With a weight of only 460g/16.2oz, the BM7 II DS is lighter than most competitors' 7-inch monitors and even lighter than some 5-inch monitors!
