Rolls-Royce Armoured Car 1920 Pattern Mk I
Now over 100 years old, it is the oldest working vehicle in The Tank Museum. The Rolls Royce armoured car was built in 1920. The Tank Museum's example operated in Ireland, Shanghai and Egypt before returning to England to patrol the Norfolk coast during the Second World War. It entered the museum's collection in 1947, becoming a hugely important exhibit. In 1997, its passenger was Queen Elizabeth II.
With this set of 267 COBI building blocks you will build a realistically reproduced historic car from the Bovington Museum Collection. The vehicle has been designed in collaboration with the Tank Museum at a scale of 1:35 and is particularly noteworthy for the numerous details, the durable, distinctive prints and the new bricks used. For the first time in the Historical Collection, we have used more extensively a new shade of green to match the British vehicles! The model continues the series of vintage cars that have been built using specially designed components. The car is simple to build and amenable to modification. More experienced builders will easily use the available parts to create other versions of the cars or trucks! The set includes a British driver figure with a sensational uniform print.
