The hard drive, network cable and computer mouse are practically free. And it's even cheaper because you don't have to organise a separate power supply for the cameras - one cable to the NVR per camera is all you need - and data and power (Power over Ethernet, PoE) are already flowing.<br><br>The recorder can be placed in the server cabinet, or simply next to the monitor from which it is operated.
