A standard zoom lens with corner-to-corner full-frame resolution
To deliver the optical performance and corner-to-corner resolution necessary for full-frame imaging, the FE 28–60 mm F4–5.6 features three aspherical lens elements. The precise shape of these elements suppresses image distortions and aberrations.
Ideal focal length and close-up capability
Capture a wide variety of everyday subjects with the flexible focusing range. With a minimum focusing distance of just 0.3 m (telephoto 0.45 m), you can achieve good close-ups of food and flowers. The compact design makes it the ideal tool for everything from table photos to vlogs with full-frame quality.
Linear-motor drive extracts maximum AF performance from the latest full-frame cameras
A Sony linear motor provides fast and precise focusing, and quiet operation in both movie and still-image capture. Combined with the latest α full-frame cameras, you can confidently lock onto even fast-moving subjects using AF functions like Real-time Tracking and Real-time Eye AF.
