Distilled water can be used for calibration: make sure the ambient temperature is about 20°C, and turn the calibration screw with a screwdriver until the reading is 0. Usage: 1. Open the prism cover and gently wipe the prism with a soft cloth. 2. Take a few drops of the test solution with a pipette, and apply it to the detection prism. 3. Carefully close the prism cover to prevent air bubbles from forming and the solution from spreading on the prism surface. 4. Point the refractometer towards the light source. 5. Observe the eyepiece and, if necessary, focus to clearly see the scale readings. 6. The dividing line between the blue and white scale parts is the reading value, which indicates the concentration of the solution. 7. Keep the refractometer in the case dry and clean to ensure the accuracy of the reading and the durability of the instrument.
