SAMURA — a team of professionals who create uniquely designed, high-end knives. We started our journey in 2003. We made our first product lines with the Japanese companies MAC and Mcusta. Japanese philosophy and traditions run deep in our DNA. We are absolutely sure that a Japanese knife cuts better than a European one. Japanese knives remain sharper longer and retain their edges longer.
Samura has been making its knives at production sites in four countries since 2010.We are currently producing 18 knife lines and a huge number of kitchen accessories. We use the best modern materials for the handle: Micarta, G10, stabilised wood, plastic with a soft-touch coating, Kraton, and composites.
OKINAWAknives
A single-edged blade is typical for traditional Japanese swords and the deba knife is crafted with this idea in mind. The outstanding characteristics of this kitchen tool make sure that even home cooks get unbelievable results, not to mention professionals who immediately distinguish the great tools from the regular.
The black bolster made from nylon adds another level to the comfort by providing an ideal weight balance in your hand.
Originally, deba knives were used for filleting fish, meat and poultry; however, today, when international dishes are everywhere, cooks are using this single-edged tool for other regular tasks as a substitution for a classical chef’s knife. This way you can slice, shred and cut vegetables, fruits, greens, seafood and other products.
The blade is forged from hard AUS-8 Japan steel, whereas the handle is made from sturdy, durable and stylish rosewood material.
Samura is well known for producing stylish and extremely durable knives, which are highly appreciated and rated by the experts and welcomed by cooking enthusiasts.
