By placing the IB-AC649 in the optical drive bay, you can mount an SSD to the notebook. Adding an SSD to the system can significantly speed up its startup, operation of the application and access to data, or simply increasing the storage capacity.
More space
Typically, notebooks do not have a second hard disk space. IB-AC649 can easily change this by adding an SSD drive that will increase notebook capacity and speed up access to data.
High compatibility
The IB-AC649 supports all 2.5" SSDs and SSDs and can be used with the latest SATA (SATA I/II/III) versions, but can not exceed 9.5 mm.

The bay is made of aluminum and plastic, it fits the style of most notebooks. The fan helps to keep the temperature at an optimum level.
