Wizards and messengers from all over the world gathered, but their powers were not enough either. But something happened that no one expected. Dorantir, a dwarf who lived in deep mountain caves, had a magical golden egg that he inherited from his grandfather. The grandfather told Dorantiru about the giant flying creatures that ruled the Earth. Dorantir was wise and realized that the dragon was the only hope. After lighting a big fire in the cave, he placed the egg next to it. Soon the egg began to split and a greenish creature with wings hatched. The dragon quickly grew and began to breathe flames. Dorantir then led the dragon to a cliff, mounted it on its back, and the dragon, flapping its giant wings, took to the sky to fight the monster of darkness. The fight was long and merciless, but evil was defeated. The dragon became a savior and was rewarded with an abundance of gold, which he still keeps in the mountains. Since then, the dragon is considered a symbol of strength, unity and wisdom.
