Dwarves are usually associated with small, bearded people who like gold, beer and juggling hammers. They originally come from the Viking saga. They were created by the will of the gods from the tiny bones of the dead giant Ymir, and his remaining skeleton became the building material of the world we know. They are brothers of the mountains and truly born from the bones of the earth itself. Our dice are made in a similar way. We grind the finest Nordic giant bones available and melt them down to create a resource worthy of dwarven craftsmanship. Dwarves are known as the best blacksmiths and jewelers. They also deal with item magic. From their workshops come the greatest treasures and finest weapons in all the known Nordic world. They were the ones who forged the weapons of the gods, so our dice can't be ordinary. They must be constantly perfected, just as dwarves are always searching for perfect forms, enchanting metal and stone. This set must be as strong as the bearded men and beautiful in its utility as the finest of dwarven craft. We decided on a wide engraving, where the numbers and symbols of the weapons are more prominent, and a subtle "labyrinth" of lines creates a background. That's how we got dice worth dvergar and their creations.
