These binoculars offer the classic combination of 8x magnification and 40 mm objective lenses. It is considered the "gold standard" among binoculars because it is multifunctional. On the one hand, they offer perfect magnification. On the other hand, it impresses with a large field of view. The Discovery Gator 8x40 binoculars are an excellent choice for hunting, hiking, bird and animal watching, territory protection and other outdoor activities.
The design is based on Porro prisms. The optics are made of fully coated glass. The binoculars provide a bright, vivid and high-contrast image with good resolution of fine details. The central focusing and diopter adjustment on the right eyepiece help to adjust the focus. The pupil distance is also adjustable. The simple rubber eyecups ensure maximum comfort even during longer observations.
The non-slip rubber protects the optical device and the mechanics from moisture, dust and dirt.
