See kaitsev lääts on spetsiaalselt valmistatud Vortex Crossfire 2 Red Dot (CF-RD2) jaoks ning kaitseb sinu punapunktiga optika objektiivläätse kriimustuste ja löökide eest. Lääts on valmistatud akrüülist ega mõjuta sinu punapunkti sihiku valgusväljundit ega täpsust. Korpuse materjaliks on 3D-printitud TPU - termoplastiline polüuretaan - mille kõvadus on 98a ja töötemperatuur kuni 138 °C. See materjal koosneb kõvast plastikust ja silikoonmaterjalist, mis muudab selle üsna elastseks, sarnaselt kummiga. Lisaks on tarvikul sees paksenemine, mis sobib lihtsalt Crossfire 2 süvendisse. Seega saab tarviku hõlpsalt kinnitada ja kasutamise ajal ei kaota sa kaitsekatet. Kogu ese kaalub vaid 4 grammi. Löögikatse Akrüüllääts on piisavalt tugev, et taluda mitmeid lööke airsoft kuulidelt kiirusega umbes 90 meetrit sekundis (umbes 1 Joule). Selle testi jaoks kasutati 0,20 grammi raskete BB-tüüpi airsoft kuule. Praktikas tähendab see, et lääts kaitseb enamiku airsoft/paintball löökide eest.
