At the same time, the case is backwards compatible with USB 3.0 and USB 2.0.<br><br><b>100% toolless</b><br>The IB-246-C31-G is an aluminium enclosure into which a 2.5" SATA hard disk can be installed. No tools at all are needed to install the SSD, which makes it quick and easy to do anywhere. SSDs or HDDs with a height of up to 9.5 mm can be installed.<br><br><b>Well protected</b><br>A silicone sleeve can optionally be placed around the enclosure. This not only provides a non-slip grip, but also protects the installed hard drive from possible damage in the event of a fall. The silicone sleeve and a USB Type-C cable are included in the scope of delivery.<br><br><b>High throughput</b><br>With USB 3.2 (Gen 2), a data speed of up to 10 Gbit/s is available via the USB Type-C connection. This means you can transfer your data from your SATA III SSD at around 550 MB/s.
